Real-World Dog Training Academy
Knowing “sit” in the living room is one thing.
Doing it around people, dogs, movement, sounds and everyday distractions is something else.
The Real-World Dog Training Academy is a six-week small-group program designed to help dogs and their owners take obedience out of the training room and into everyday life.
Dogs don’t live in training rooms.
They live around front doors, sidewalks, visitors, other dogs, cars, stores, noises, movement and distractions.
That’s why our approach goes beyond teaching a dog what a command means.
We work toward helping dogs understand how to respond when the world around them becomes more interesting than the person holding the leash.
Nine practical skills, and the difference between doing them at home and doing them out in the world.
